Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026
The short version. This website has no accounts, no forms and no shopping cart. Our planners store everything on your own device and make no network requests at all — we could not see your entries if we tried. The only personal data connected to a purchase is what Etsy collects in order to sell you something, and Etsy holds that, not us.
1. Who is responsible
BigPandaPixel, trading from [YOUR REGISTERED BUSINESS NAME AND ADDRESS], is the data controller for the limited processing described in this policy.
Contact: hello@bigpandapixel.com.
2. Data this website collects
This website is a set of static pages. It has:
- no user accounts and no login;
- no contact form, newsletter signup or comment section;
- no shopping cart or checkout — buying happens on Etsy;
- no advertising or tracking pixels, and no cookies set by us.
Like every website, the server that hosts these pages keeps standard access logs, which typically record your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser's user-agent string. These are generated by the hosting provider for security and reliability, are not used to build a profile of you, and are not combined with any other data.
If you add analytics later, this section must be updated. Adding a tool such as Google Analytics, Plausible or Meta Pixel changes what is collected and may require a cookie banner in the EU and UK. See the site README for a note on this.
3. Google Fonts
The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address and browser information as part of that request. Google states it does not use these requests to build advertising profiles. See Google's Privacy Policy.
No fonts are loaded by the planners themselves — they use typefaces already installed on your device, which is part of why they work offline.
4. Data inside the planners
This is the part most people are asking about, so it is worth being precise.
Each planner is a single HTML file that runs entirely in your browser. Everything you type into it — tasks, notes, ratings, cycle dates, debt balances, interest rates, payments — is saved by your browser's local storage on the device you are using, and stays there.
- The file makes no network requests. There is no server to send anything to, and it works with your device fully offline.
- We receive nothing. Not your entries, not usage statistics, not crash reports, not even the fact that you opened the file.
- There is no account, so there is nothing to link a file to a person.
- Nothing syncs. Data on your laptop does not reach your phone unless you export it and import it yourself.
Because of this, we cannot access, export, correct, or delete anything you have entered into a planner — we do not have it. You control it entirely: clear your browser's storage for that file and it is gone.
Please keep backups. Clearing browser data, private or incognito mode, switching browsers, or resetting a device will delete your entries permanently. Every planner has an export button for this reason.
5. Data Etsy collects when you buy
Purchases are made on Etsy, and Etsy is the data controller for that transaction. To sell you a planner, Etsy collects and processes things like your name, email address, billing details, payment information and order history.
As the seller, we see only what Etsy shows in our seller dashboard — typically your Etsy username, your order details, and any message you send us. We never see your full card details.
Etsy's handling of your data is governed by Etsy's Privacy Policy. Requests about data Etsy holds should go to Etsy.
6. If you email us
If you contact us for support, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation in case you write again about the same thing.
Please do not send us screenshots or exports containing financial details, health information or anything else sensitive unless it is genuinely needed to solve the problem — and if it is, we will delete it once the issue is closed.
7. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Contract — processing needed to deliver the planner you bought and to provide support for it.
- Legitimate interests — keeping server logs to run the site securely, and keeping support correspondence so we can help you consistently.
- Legal obligation — retaining transaction records where tax or accounting law requires it.
8. How long we keep things
- Support emails — kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
- Order records — held by Etsy under their retention policy; we keep only what tax and accounting rules require.
- Server logs — kept for a short period by the hosting provider, then rotated out automatically.
- Your planner data — kept by you, on your device, for exactly as long as you choose.
9. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising. The only parties involved are the ones needed to run the shop:
- Etsy, Inc. — the marketplace that processes your purchase and delivers your download.
- Our website host — serves these pages and keeps standard access logs.
- Our email provider — carries any message you send us.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on this website, as described in section 3.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we relied on it.
To exercise any of these, email hello@bigpandapixel.com. We will respond within one month.
Two practical notes. First, for anything relating to your order, Etsy holds the data — we will tell you so and point you to them. Second, we genuinely cannot act on data inside your planner, because it never leaves your device; you can delete it yourself at any time by clearing your browser's storage for that file.
If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with how we have handled a request, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
11. Children
Our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. International transfers
Etsy, our host and our email provider may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Those providers rely on their own safeguards for such transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect — for example by adding analytics — we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before the new processing begins.
14. How to reach us
